gearbox transfer box problems

i got a little problem so i think i have blown my transfer box
gear box selects gear and transfer box selects hi low and lock
in all gears but no forwards or backwards movement just a
a lot of vibration from gearbox when running engine

have you tried diff lock , if this work's then you've blown a cv or half shaft . You don't say when or wher you were at the time of failure .

Just happened to me too. In my case it was the front diff that had disintegrated.

OR to be sheared/worn away due to no oil getting to..gearbox output splines/transferbox input gear.if auto and a lt230 transferbox an easy fix,ie can do with all in situ..if manual new gearbox..

manuel gearbox out of 1985 rangerover v8 think it the lt75 gearbox and to answer the other question in full low lock when it blew towing a
a white discovery that had got stuck i,ve got a manuel lt 7 gearbox out of a 200tdi which i broke for parts will the gaerbox fit if i change the bell housing over as they both look like the box

input shaft is different size were it goes into spigot bush in crank tdi is bigger ,jack one front wheel up to check you havent blown a cv,check oil in boxes for debris
