Looking at gearbox guard on eBay and it's shot up to £250+ with 4 days to go so at that I shall not be buying so.......

Does anyone have any pics or tape measure to give rough sizes and location so I can knock one out.

Cheers

What is it to shield you from?
Personally I think it will just add weight and make you sink further. Hence why its been on Blanchards shelf all these years.
When I used to off road the series 1 it was the fuel tank that used to bottom out and stop you dead in your tracks.

Much the same with a series two, unless you are tackling a boulder field the only thing needing extra protection is the front diff pan.:)

thanks for adding link, haven't worked out how to cut and paste link on the ipad.

get bored easily and so like to make stuff and not having transmission shield looked like next on list of this to make so just wanted basically pic how susposed to fit but hey can just do it.

ok Ill look at front diff guards and tanks guards as next project just in case.

cheers chaps

following last one selling for just over £300 I think I'll give this a miss.

keep an eye on it and see how keen people are to spend!!! I must be too tight as rather spend on tyres or mechanics.

steel plate that size and some angle iron only adds up to about £30 so if when really bored i may look into it later in the year.
