Gearbox repair Land Rover Discovery 1

Hi everyone,

I have a Land Rover Discovery 1 (300 tdi 09/1994) and I'm having trouble with my gearbox.

The first speed to the second speed scratche.

But if I reduce the third speed to the second speed that does not happen.

I know that there is a complete kit to repair the gearbox, I think is LT77 (?) but I do not find.
If anyone knows what the kit, please tell me.

Yes it's called STOP tryin to change gear fast ! Take your time between gear changes mine has done it since the day I bought it & it's got no worse ! & I've had it 5 years gets better when warm !

It's best to identify what box you have first. The Lt77 has reverse gear next to first gear.
If yours is over by fifth gear is an R380 gearbox.

Same year as mine ! should be the R380 box !
Other opinions are available of coarse

try changing the oil and use atf 3 not atf 2 , there is quite a difference , also ashcrofts recommend it now no more mtf ****
