Hello everybody, before I start thrutching, anyone know if the `box will come out of my 2a with the overdrive still attatched?. It looks awful close to the centre crossmember to me. :confused:

Hi-ya sunking 101, okay thanks, as Clive said, it was tight but it did come out. By the time i`d finished, probably half of my workmates had been involved in some capacity, either offering genuine advice and help, or in some(well most) cases taking the mick! Horrible people. Hope the good one`s are around when it`s time to put it all back together. Just replacing a few seals, gaskets and the release bearing while it`s out but I don`t think the boss likes me doing it in works time. Skinflint. Cheers, Pete.

Hi Hope G/box Job Is Going To Plan Yes There Allways Seems To Be Plenty Of Advice I Dont Get To Much Trouble With The Boss I Work For My Self Now {best Job Ive Ever Had} By The Way Wot Was The Problem With The G/ Box? Im Sure There Will Be Plenty Of Help Around When You Put It Back Get The Others To Make The Tea? I Work On Motors All The Time I Know Wot Its Like All {the Best}

Allright Clive, (1) g/box going to plan- not in any great rush to finish the job quickly as the dry weather and my employee`s bus pass is giving me time to sort all the little bits out. (2)Could`nt work for myself, i`d never get out of bed in the morning!. (3) Problem not actually the `box- it`s the clutch, some springs broken in the pressure plate. (4) They could`nt make a decent brew between them, and (5) I too work on motors,well, buses.Its a dirty job and I don`t want to do it!!. T.T.F.N, Pete.
