Gearbox noise i think

Hi all help please
I have a disc 2 td5 1999 manual box
1. when the truck is cold i get a noise from the gear box i think because when i put the clutch in it goes it sound like a drum break rubbing but when she,s hot no noise ???? any ideas pls

Q2 when i,m up to speed and go into 5 gear i hear a sound like a a radio than hasn't been tuned help pls

Does it do it when it is stationary not in gear / travelling in gear?

If it stops when you put your foot on the clutch, it could be release bearing, or a loose spring finger in the clutch. Other could be the gearstick rattling, or several other things. If it changes gear ok, and oil in the box, maybe best not worry too much about it.
 
Mine does the same. Same age and drivetrain. When the clutch is just starting to engage the noise appears, when it's fully disengaged or fully engaged there's no noise only does it for the very first clutch slip of the day and then is fine. It hasn't bothered me much. Mine has fresh mtf94 and gearbox is faultless other than that.
