gearbox issue??

Evening all,
iv gone and got myself another disco after two months of driving normal cars (it was painful) the problem is when you put her in reverse she will not free wheel very far when you depress the clutch she just rolls for a few feet then clunks and stops and then its very hard to get her out of reverse, now the rest of the gears seem fine apart from a cruch when changing down from 3rd to 2nd but apart from that the only thing is the clutch is very heavy.

any ideas?

Umm bite feels ok

Yes she reverses ok, she dosnt seem to do it all the time either.

Perhaps hb cable sticking?

Is the h/b drum full of sh1t? Clunk into 2nd, sounds fairly common.

Guess id have to take it apart to see that, im gonna try changing the gear box oil also
