Sport Gearbox fault

Hi guys new little issue today the range rover sport 3.0tdv6 2010 gearbox fault and restricted proformance light comes on every now and then.. car drives fine no limp mode or anything can drive for ages before it comes on and goes out when you turn it off.... No fault codes logged what could it be? I am stumped... I am thinking electronic problem but not sure anyone had similar problems? Battery is fine and drove 40 miles fine then turned off and on again and bing there it was....
