Gearbox click under braking in motion only

Hi all,

The beast has developed a new 'click' - could have been there for some time but can only hear it with the window open and radio off.

When in motion, brakes applied - a single 'click' is heard. Sounds mechanical, have checked all brakes and retaining clips - all secure and operating normally. A single vibration is felt through the gear stick when this click is made hence my concern it is the gearbox making this click. Anyone got any ideas??

Mine does exactly the same....Has done for the last year, have not, yet, figured out what it is!!

I am thinking it is a clutch in the GB as it releases.....

I changed my Fluid and Filter in January and it still does it, and there were no signs of 'issues' in the fluid or filter i.e. debris or metal fillings...

I am keeping an eye on it, some days it is louder some days it is quieter....never have got to the source yet!

brake pad rattling in calliper will only do it first hit of brakes(single click)vibration prob something unrelated
