gear stick

evening all, am after a gear stick fer my series 2, cant find one new , paddocks etc, but they do a ser3 gear stick fer £15,
querstion is whats the dirfference, i thort the ser2 gearstick were stronger than the ser3? something to do with the ball if i remember right? metal and plastic?

thats what it will come to mate, ah tell yers.

phoned up , were put thru the usual chanels of passing the buck , customer services desk , parts, returns, back to cust serv, fookin twenty mins of music between changes !
then the company policy is to pay for a new item and have it delivered free of charge next day.
the falty item is returned to landrover / **** part/ bearmach where ever by craddocks, if the item is to be found falty your refunded back on to your card, if not , yer fookin paying fer two items, :doh:
ah fookin int playing that game

so am off down there on monday morning, ask for full refund and fook off and get one from paddocks or where ever.
