Hello folks, after changing out the oil seal (gear selector to box) I noticed that there is a universal joint on the selector shaft that has failed, this joint is pressed in and comes as a complete assembly.
I contacted several independant dealers and then the main LR dealer, only to be told that the item is no longer available and LR have put this item out to contract for re supply, lead time at best 10 weeks!!!!!!
Now tempted to try and find a local engineering shop to see if I can drill out and fit a replacment joint.
One other point can sombody please confirm that the main crank pully bolt is NOT LH threaded, I know its high torqu just want to confirm.
