gear selection

OK guys,over the last week I noticed a vibration coming from the gear stick almost drove me nuts just enough of a rattle to get right on your nerve's today the rattle disappeared.
Now I don't know if it has any influence on it but bloody hell I'm having a job changing gear without crunching any idea's welcome, forgot to say 200tdi disco 1

Clutch plate going? Could be breaking up causing vibes and poor change? Is it slipping?

no no slippage drove it today and found that it randamly went into gear sometimes nice smooth others with a bit of effort n still some crunching noticed there dosent seem to be much on the pedal so was thinking clutch on the way out but why will it go in sometimes n not others

Might be the hydrolics or clutch arm.
