Ok so while stripping down my blue rebuild, noticed I have the lt85 gearbox..... I hoped for lt75 but I guess I'm out of luck these days!
So trying to decide....
Do I go lt85 with 1.410 disco transfer giving me 2100 rpm at 50.... Wastgate is adjusted and fuel adjusted so pulls from the bottom anyway
Or should I source a lt75 with 1.410 giving me 2000 rpm at 50?
What are you guys running?
I do about 200 miles of driving a day, mix of motorway and town. Economy is important
I don't tow often but when I do its normally a dead car of some description and I'd like to be able to tow a trailer at decent speed (65 would be nice)
Might be after a gearbox dependant on the outcome of this!
