Gear linkage?

Hi all,

Tonight on my journey home I suddenly discovered a very wobbly gear stick and lack of ability to select a gear. After calling a random drivers to push me out of the main round and out of harms way i found on my inspection that the rod that connects the internal gear stick to the gear box (sorry - dont know official name) had come free. It seems that these elements should have been kept together by either a clevis pin or nut and bolt? Could anybody tell me what is needed? I'm not sure how this managed to fall out whilst driving but I want to make sure I replace it with something suitable?
