On my way home from work, I happened upon a stranded Discovery.
Shame.
Fortunately, i had a tow rope....and a 1.8 gaylander...

I see the excuses have already started flowing...

Fukin brilliant. Got his face, reg number and proof too. O the shame of it. Pulled out by a Freelander. And a 1.8 k series as well. Not to mention all the other faults the tratter boys repeat at every opertunity, and then some.

Just goes to show what a Freelander can do. I'm glab I recorded a rangie classic when I recovered him.

Who's up for a tratter recovery? 90 or 110 perhaps?

Why do people insist on using reverse (I suppose its the lowest ratio gear in the Freelander is a possible reason) but its the weakest gear if you gave it any grief you'd blow your gearbox apart!

As if.

Fair play to the gaylanderer. but if the Disco owner knew what he was driving and had actually tried to assist by sticking it in gear and taking his foot off the clutch., the clutch in the gaylander might not have fried so badly.

Yep betterer to use 1st gear, and pull forward as it's lower than reverse.
