Hi All,
I have a Series 3 with a chassis that needs work - Ive bought 2 No front dumb irons & a rear panel.
I'm contemplating sorting out the chassis then having it galvanised, I will be able to remove as much of the old coatings from the outside but will have no access to the inside cavities.
From experience Galv does not stick to paint, so what kind of results has anyone had both internally & externally after having it dipped - there's no way on gods earth I can afford a new Galvans chassis.
Also what's the cost of the process?
Looking forward to hearing everyones experience regarding this
