Galvanised Chassis

Afternoon all,
I have a serious rust problem on my chassis and have been advised to get a galv fitted, i dnt mind spending the money as its gonna last forever, ive looked on the net and ive managed to find tayside landrovers that can supply and fit. however they are about 500 miles away from me in sunny surrey. Does anyone know anything more local or does anyone know what taysides work is like?

Give Safari Engineering near Blackbushe, Keith Gotts in Alton and Challenger 4x4 near Aldershot a ring. I'm sure one of them will want to do the work.

I have dealt with tayside land rovers a lot , he is good and his work is good too. He uses oe land rover galvanised chassis not richards or any other makers. Makes you wonder why land rover doesn,t just build them that way from the start, when they can supply them.

Richards have recently fitted my defender with a galv chassis and galv bulkhead. Highly recommend them

I imagine its because rust is the only real defender killer! if it wasnt for it the things would last forever and reduce sales of new ones.
