Hi,

I have a second hand 72,587 mile Freelander TD4 HSE Auto 2005 with FBH. I have just been looking in the main fuse box in the engine bay. Can any one tell me if I should have the following fuses fitted and what they are actually for. F3-15A, R5, FL10-30A in the manual they are stared stateing if needed and that there for the Engine Managment.

My beauty of a vehicle will not engage the sport mode/steptronic selection of the Auto box and was wondering if I had a fuse missing. Manual says F4-15A is the fuse but that is ok.

I am woundering if I was to change the transmission oil COULD this help the Auto Box to engage the Sport mode(think I know the answer, NO) but got to ask as its cheaper than a new auto box!!

If sport mode isn't selecting it's likely the switch at the bottom of the lever. Do all the gears work? Eg 1, 2, 4 D, N and R. Does that dash display the correct gear? It won't be a fuse.

Yes all the gears work and are correctly displayed. Just the sport/steptronic mode that is not engaging or displaying on the dash.
