fuse keeps blowing

hi to all
im asking this question for a good friend , he has a 110 ex water board defender on a k plate .... the problem is when the indicators are put on they blow the fuse and it interferes with the radio this only happonds on the left hand side of coarse on the same circuit are stop lights and fuel / temp instruments does anyone have an idea what could be the cause of this many thanks
 
Hmmm water board landy huh, bound to have or had a towbar fitted at some point and possibly some monkey fitted or removed it and did not bother too much bout the wiring so as ratty says check the rear wiring for bust open scoth locks bits of black insulatin tape and the likes
 
ahh hes had it for 10 years and never took it off road im iching for him to come out with me but he keeps makeing excuses ......... its only ever had the one tow bar fitted it has happoned before but seemed to correct its self
 
not sure but have mentioned to him today about you and yours hes got the right wheels and tyres on wranglers mud terrains for road use only what a waste hes had them on 6 years and have never worn but i would like to see them go through that mud hole we usually visit

Try harder bitch:p . get him to look at the videos on youtube to see what it is like.;)
 
Take a look at the loom running down the left hand wing, I had a similar fault and it the loom had worn away on a sharp edge, only did it sometimes, just lifted the whole loom out of the daft place it is and put heatshrink along it.
