I have a similar problem, except mine come back on after 2 or 3 miles whether i touch the brakes or not, sometimes they come back on while i'm parked up with the engine running, i dont think its the battery voltage so im pretty sure now its a bad earth connection on the inner wing, gonna clean it if i get time tomorrow and find out
