Hi i have a 300tdi discovery jap import,my problem is no power getting to the fuel stop soleniod,it has a single wire no dds system,if i put a live feed straight from the battery it starts ok.Is there a relay i cannot find or is the wire broken if so where does it go to the wiring diagrams in the manuals not very clear,i would be grateful for any advice thanks.

I believe your immobiliser controls the fuel cut off, so it seems what u are doing is bypassing that function, i've looked at my diagrams and it looks like there isn't a relay as such involved.
You can always install an ignition switch controlled 12v supply in place of your battery connection.

Ok say it is, then you as a owner of one must have a better understanding of the OPs problem, so what could be wrong? :)

Oops! Put my foot in that one!!

I've read in numerous forums that ex Japs don't have immobilisers - after that I'm stuck. I never do anything engine related because it's too expensive.

Following on from this, I cannot start mine after wading. The engine kept running fine in the deep water with snorkel, but I got home, turned it off, tried restarting after a while and it just turns over.

I've got fuel upto the injector pump, but nothing at the injectors. Key fob has no affect on alarm (all dead).........Is this an immobiliser fault?

Any advice appreciated. Cheers
