Hi guys,
I have a problem with my fuel splitter on the front passangers side chassis rail located under the steering arm hole. Its a 5 way splitter which looks like the attachment below as you can see two of the pipes have cracked of taking the connectors with them. From what i gather from looking at it the fuel feed which i believe to be the closest on, would go straight through, while the 2nd pipe would be the return that feeds which is either the auxiliary heater or the cooling. Can anyone confirm this or is this wrong? If my thoughts are is it possible to put the feed pipe straight through with a male to male connector, and a male to male to male t piece, for the return and auxiliary heater/cooling. If i tried this would the engine mangment flag up if fueling is wrong or could this cause damage to my engine. I have currently taken the fuse out of the fuel pump to stop all my fuel ****ing all over the floor. Looking at try to cut my cost as the steelerships want 400 and something for parts and 450 for labour as they say the only way it can be replaced is by replacing the fuel lines from the tank to the engine. Getting desperate now as stuck, at the moment unable to go anywhere.
many thanks

Look at this BWM part number 16121184632 if memory serves think this can be made to fit and quite cheap.

as above unless you do the t piece and home made job, parts from eblag or aquarium place might work.

good pics might help someone else save 400 nicker.

if i am right this was discused a year ago, and upon looking it up i am sure there are one way valves in the unit, but i could be wron i have slept since then.

thank you every one think i'm going to go with the bmw part if i can find one.
Thanks for you responses, I will keep posted as to how it works.
Many thanks

found 1 250 quid the bmw part just cost me 5 quid, so if this doesn't work i will be ordering from the breakers, but they still will only sell it as a complete set of fuel lines,
cheers the optimst
