P38A fuel rail pressure

Think the number is 36psi up to 99 then think it went to 50psi after, for the pump output.

does that equate to rail pressure? Probably.

Hmmmm.... just looked in my Workshop manual and it doesn't say. Sorry.
No problem, thanks for looking Dan.perhaps I should have asked the tank pump output pressure. Haven't checked yet but the pump may have packed in on the black one. I was wondering if it was possible to fit an in line pump. The one's I've seen are around 10 psi.
 
Gems is 38 PSI static or running. It should spike up to about 41-42 PSI when you blip the throttle. This is the action of the fuel pressure regulator and why it is connected to the inlet manifold. The pressure spike effectively ensures the injectors can deliver enough fuel for sudden acceleration. There is a test port on the RHS of the fuel rail for connecting a gauge to.
