Hi all,
Just got back from the Lakes via recovery truck - all was fine until I filled up with petrol, got in and turned the engine would it heck fire up, no petrol getting to the injectors...checked the fuses and cut off switch, 120 miles home with Green Flag :eek:!!

Its dropped off at my local garage as its a non starter at the mo.. probably the fuel pump, Ill let you know what the mechanic says...feet up now with a cuppa :)

Try testing the fuel pump. You should hear it whirring at ignition on, if not give it a tap or two (if this is the low pressure one located in the OSR wheel arch) and if it starts working you might get a few more miles out of it. When changing it, also replace the in-line filter located next to it in the wheel arch.

Thanks very much for the info Skynet, Ill be checking it out on Monday when I can get to the garage that its stranded at.
Would petrol additive help in future ...any recommendations ?? cheers :)
