Fuel management

My TD5 feels like its running on 4 cylinders every now and then and shakes like made if i get near 50, but is ok if i turn off the ignition and re-start the engine again. seems to be happen quite a lot for a few days then nothing for weeks.Can anyone please help?

This could well be the classis 'oil in the injector loom' problem. A fault code read will tell for sure.

check your injection wiring loom for signs of oil contamination first. If it looks ok then it's time to get it plugged in on a diagnostic computer.
