Hello,
I've been trying to fix a few things on my 90 this afternoon, the fuel gauge sender and float mechanism being one of them. Basically the gauge shows an accurate reading if I press down on top of the float mech really hard where the three wires connect. ive re-cut the wires and fitted new terminals as well as swapping them about but I can't figure this out, what's wrong with it!? It only gives a reading if I press down! I've cleaned the contacts etc.
