hi
after purchasing what i thought was the correct fuel cap not once but twice, im completely stumped
and was hoping for some help. im looking for a locking fuel cap for my 1985 90 i do have pictures but am lost to how you actually add it to this post. edit just figured it out
my vin is AA237540 ive ordered 2 caps to this number but they still dont fit :mad:

any help would be appreciated as im getting tired of my fuel getting nicked :(

Looks the same as mine, a wide 2 lug cap. Might have to change filler neck to the smaller or thinner one to get the locking one. Maybe a series 3 hasp type also.

I would just go to your nearest local auto parts shop and get one from them, you could try it outside the shop, it looks like the old style filler that all older cars had. Failing that get a newer style filler neck from a scrapper or indi garage who usually have a lot of scrap parts.
