Hi all,

Went to fuel up the discovery, and it made me look like a lemon... The door didn't want to open, not even getting any activation sound like you usually get? Quick check of the fuses.. seems fine? Any ideas or has anyone had this issue before?

Let's hope it's something simple cos the fuel flap has a too complex management for what it is, it gets feed from F2 interior fusebox bay through the switch and earth from the BCU with some logical conditions, if you are lucky it's just the fuse or switch but if not you'll have to get to the solenoid and measure for voltage across te pins in the connector when you push the switch, if you get 12V the solenoid is fubar but if not you'll have to see what's missing the positive feed or earth, if no earth just splice into the red/blue wire with an earthed wire to bypass the BCU but if no feed more troubleshooting is needed . Though listen carefully close to the flap if you hear any activity when it's switched cos the solenoid doesnt make such noise when the flap doesnt move cos when it works you hear the flap opening, if you hear a faint click it can be what's in the bulletin https://docdro.id/PirYZUG . Good luck
