The fbh can be bit problematic after a summer on non-use.

Mine often needs the fuse pulled and a forced start a few times before it is fully awakened from it's six months or so of slumber.

I can force mine to start by means of the timer, but you can use a freeze spray on the sensor or the old paper-clip doge to earth pin 3 on the connector.

You could also fit a simple dash-switch to the the system, giving you complete control over it.

A good dose of injector cleaner in the tank will help to clean the fbh at the same time.

Lots of info on other forums for other cars which use the TD4 engine by the way.

Singvogel.

I pulled and checked the 20A fuse (5) in the under bonnet fusebox, it's intact so it went back in.

Where abouts are the sensor and connector? I hope I don't have to pull the front end off!

Ok got the garage to bleed the fuel through to fbh as per the people on the rover forums
And all working fine now.
I got the garage to do this as it was there fault in the first place so no charge to me but I still have a lot of info from the rover guys if anyone want it.
