OK, going to do some bodywork and paint on my ex-MOD D110. I've stripped down and reassembled more Series trucks than I care to think about, but this whole thing with inner wings and outer plastic bits is all new to me.

The left-side ing either needs to come off or needs to have access to the outer panel cleared for some dent-bashing - someone want to give me a get-the-wing-off-in-25-words-or-less?

thanks!

From memory a few years ago on a 1986 '90'
Unbolt air intake ducting, washer reservoir and any other odd pieces from inner wing. undo row of set bolts at rear edge bolting wing to bulkhead ( you will need socket and extension to reach in to them). Remove set bolts holding wing to bulkhead just inside engine compartment. Undo bolts holding inner wing behind wheel - you will see bolt heads, nuts inside engine compartment. Remove bolts holding wing to grill surround. Disconnect electrics to lights. Then you should be able to lift off wing complete with inner. Sorry a few more than 25 words.

perfect! Just wanted to geet a feel for the annoyance. Need to iron out a couple of dents the squaddies inflicted on the old boy years ago. if i'm going to do a respray on this thing i will be damned if i'm going to spray paint over dents and ripples in panels.

BTW, you're forgiven on the over-25-words... :)
