If you remove the roof then yes, it is designed to fold forward.

You could put the roof back on afterwards but i imagine it won't stay there for long after a trip down the motorway and you'll look abit of a tw@t anorl with the windscreen down ;)

I had bit of a side question about this actually. Does anyone know if I need to tell dvla, insurance company and the like if I want to take the roof and back off my 110 in the summer temporary? It's a van at the mo but would love to take it for a spin as a totally open top

Not sure tbh, i suppose it would depend on your insurance company as it's not classed as a ' convertible ' as such.

Structurally it won't make a difference, whether that comes into it or not i don't know...

So why aint this allowed?

It'd pass an not without the top n what not would it?

Yes it will as the roof isn't part of the structure so to speak.

Make sure if you do MOT it, to take it somewhere that has worked on Landy's though as some stations get confused when something's missing, ie like the roof....
