Hello all, has anyone tried the the front wheel bearings available for under a £100 from ANDYSPARES on e-bay? Hell of a saving if o.k. I usually pay £215 trade from motor factors.

For wheel bearings?,forgive my ignorance of disco 2's,but that sound way over priced for bearings.

about £15 a corner off paddocks

Just googled and I see you problem. Didn't know they were none servicable. Paddocks do the hub assembly for 165+vat.

just replaced both rear sets on 110 £24 +vat for a kit containing 2 bearings, 1 seal, 1 sachet of grease, 1 paper gasket, and 4 tab washers 2 defender and 2 series one's

2 kits £48 + vat

Yeh, such is progress. They are supposed to be water proof however. Many vehicles now come with a hub/bearing assembly but Discovery 2 seem a little ott. I just wondered if anyone had any experience of the cheaper bearing. They have a 12month warranty and seller has huge good feedback score. e-bay. Name. aapoldham . Andy Auto Spares.
