My new Series 11A 1969 is currently a non-runner that I bought quite cheaply.
My (first) problem is that the front drivers side wheel will rotate backwards but not forwards. Other front wheel rotates both forward and backwards as expected.
Both wheels are fitted with WARN free wheeling hubs - passenger side seems to work ok but drivers side has no effect.
How can I locate the problem? Should I uninstall WARN hubs? If yes what bits do I need?

Odd, what type of Warn hub do you have? I have Warn hubs and they eitehr lock or are free, there is no directional elment to them. But I think Warn may also have made "automatic" free wheeling hubs that had a sprag clutch in. Could also be the brakes, what happens when its in 2 WD?

2 or 4 wheel drive makes no difference - rotate back hard but ok , rotate forward locks soli. There are no ids on WARN hubs only arrows and lock/ unlock

You were right. After major effort got the drum off - will need replacing as groove in drum.
Adjuster is stuck - how do I replace/free it?

Many thanks

Penetrating oil and heat. Take your time as you want to get it free even if you intend to replace it, what you don't want is to shear it off in the back plate. Get a fine blowtorch on it and get it dull red then squirt it with penetrating oil (and yes its says don't do that and yes it can all go up in flames, but it cools it fast and gets pulled into the threads so its worth the risk)
