Am trying to take off the front plastic skirt on my '95 classic- is this how you do it?- Theres two screws that seem to go through the metal bumper onto the plastic skirt (and throught he number plate)- take them out. Then all I can see is two kind of brackets which are on top of the fog lamp holders. Is that all thats holding the pesky thing on. I dont like it at all and it gets in the way something hellish even when tackling wee hills!

Here's what it says on RAVE

Am thinking of getting shot of it and getting a tax exempt series landy again.

If anyone wants a swap...............ps will throw in wife (house trained), Kid (not house trained) and a nice black labrador.

i need referred to a nice botttle of whisky- its pishing down here now. Operations suspended, oblivion beckons.

Am fed up of sodding RR'S.

I took mine off with a 10mm spanner (for wing to valance bolts) well on the side that was still attached. I hit a 3 ton block of ice with the other side. Removed the driving lamp brackets, and used a crow bar on the number plate/bumper to valance bolts. Slipped the bar between the number plate mount and the front of the valance. A hard yank and it fell off.
