Front seat diaphragm replacement

Bit of advice please.
Going to change seat diaphragm tomorrow.
Have looked at the excellent film on youtube.
On the film the whole seat was removed but my seat base is fine and can I change the diaphragm with seat base left on frame.
Appreciate could be a bit fiddly

New diaphragm fitted ok.
Had to loosen seat cover and move seat foam base out of way to access clips easily.

My old diaphragm had split down the length of one of the rubber inserts.
As a temporary repair I had punched a series of hole opposite each other on the two halves of rubber and joined them with cable ties. Worked perfect and was still whole when removed for the new one. Probably would have lasted for years but fitted a new one anyway
