If you have a centre diff lock then I would say yes.

I ran mine without the front prop for about two weeks and was ok

I thought it would be possible, just wasnt sure about the viscos coupling.
Tried it an it works ok, Actally feels lighter on the steering without.
It the UJ out of thr transfer box thats failed, felt it juddering, when I checked 2 bearings have gone.
Ordered a new one from PAddock, about £9.00.
