After thinking it was my wheel bearing i have now found that my UJ on my front prop shaft is what is causing the horible squeek and typically as iv found it its getting worse. I have ordered the new UJ but here is the thing is it ok to remove the propshaft and carry on driving all be it only rear wheel drive? I have to use my car over the next couple of days and worrying about it failing and doing more damage if the propshaft came off just want to make sure im not overlooking something before i remove it till the parts come!

Also is it easy enough to do without a bence vice to get the bearings in? cheers

would you prefer to further damage the already damaged UJ

or risk damaging something much more expensive by keeping Dl on for a few days

im worried if it was to come off at speed and damage teh transfre box, axel etc. Surly removing it has no implications! not that i can see, apart from going up a steep off road hill which i should be ok for for the next few days.
