Yes, me again more challenges, already...
..I have searched the forum and couldn't find anything.
Front Noise
Recently replaced my front air struts assembly and noticed when driving, a really weird SHHHH noise from the front right of the vehicle arises. Noise happens when accelerating between 1K - 2K RPM , at higher speeds it goes away. No Power loss. Sound can be replicated. Sometimes the noise disappears but then comes back to annoy me again. While i've explained the sound to sound like SHHHHHHH, it can also be referred to as taking a hot pot of the cooker stove and placing it on cold water SHHHH but its more of a build up noise then builds down, so higher and lower depending on acceleration style.
Dealer said they will have to check it first. So when collected the vehicle, went for a spin with the advisor and said could be a seal or gasket or something loose forcing in a wind noise? He also noted, Insulation?
Blower is fine as the noise comes when AC on or off.
I also had a AC gas refill, could the mechanics have forgotten to close down something leading to the noise? Im so worried and hope not another major issue . :5blurk5:
Rear Noise
This is referring to the cover. Not the net covert, just the cover that slides open and closes. I sat in the back while a friend drove the vehicle and noticed how depending on the road conditions, the cover tends to move from the middle and make an awful rattle, What the best way to tackle this? What should I use?
