The official way to wire them up according to the accessory brochure is via a wiring loom you either install or is already installed from the factory.

The instructions begin with this text which will allow you to find out whether you will find the connectors to install them or not or whether you will need a wiring loom...

FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND USE SWITCH 'B' UNLESS
The vehicle has a fog lamp harness and a High Line BeCM already fitted to the vehicle.
To determine if the vehicle has a fog lamp harness already fitted, there will be a connector taped back to the main vehicle harness
behind the switch panel (fig 1) and two fog lamp connectors attached to the chassis behind the bumper.
To determine if the vehicle has a High Line BeCM, remove fuse cover on RHS seat plinth trim and inspect label on top of the fuse hold-er.
If there is an 'H', the BeCM is High Line (fig 2)
If both of these coditions are met, switch 'A' can be used. Untape connector (fig 1) and connect to the new switch 'A' and then follow the
instructions from boxs 69 to 85. On completion the remaining parts can be discarded. The BeCM must now be set up to accept fog
lamps, this is done with the test book in option mode for New Range Rover.

Ok, the BeCM is like a big silver topped box thats underneath your drivers seat.

So, open up your drivers door and at the bottom of the seat plinth there will be a cover for the fuses. Pop this cover off and then run your finger over the top of the fuse holder assembly and there will be a white label on there. Does this label have a 'H' on it??

If it does then go and lie on your back and look underneath the vehicle either side roughly where the fog lights would be. Hopefully you will see connectors just kinda hanging there waiting to be used.

So if you do have the H on your BeCM and the dangling connectors I would think you can pretty easily install fog lamps without the need for the extra harness.

Hi Wills Looked At Fuse Box And I Do Have An H On It But Cant Find The Conectors Underneath For The Lights Should They Be Beside The Bottom Fog Light Cut Out Panels Or Behind The Front Grill?
Many Thanks Andy

I had my bumper off on the weekend, and I found the connectors up a bit higher, just below the last bit of steel valence panel. They are black 2-pin connectors.

I'm not suggesting you take your bumper off! Though it's any easy job if the two M10 bolts unscrew alright.

I'll have a look for you tomorrow, im pretty sure mine are just hanging down.

Did you get right under and look straight up, make sure the bonnet is open to bring in light from above.

Thanks for all the replies my one doesnt have the wireing loom for the fog lights . so i wired them straight into the full beam and now use them as driving lights thanks again

Hi Wills, I have just fitted front fog lights to my P38 2.5 dse. I have the lights pluged into the white connectors at the end of the chassie legs and I have unrapped the tape from behind the dushboard. I do not have the accessories book that you were talking about. what ealse do I need to do. To get them working.

Thanks.

Gus.

They will need to be activated from the BECM settings. Alternative is to wire them in to the headlight circuit via a relay and separate fused feed as it is doubtful if the headlamp wiring would stand the extra load.

I tried putting the following steps into their own little PDF guide but couldnt get it to work so ive just pasted pics of every page in the steps needed to fit the lights.

Hope this helps...

Very comprehensive Wills. Note the last sentence in the text-this confirms that the BECM has to be programmed before the lights will work. This can be done with Test Book, Autologic or Rovacom and the option is there to use them with side lights, dipped or main beam.
At the end of the day, it's a hell of a lot of work for an extra couple of lights. I was thinking of fitting an A bar with an extra couple of lamps and I would definately use a separate relay & fuse triggered either by my existing headlamps or fogs.
