Hi
I have a defender 90, push button doors, I've recently fitted new doors as old ones were rotten! I cannot get the doors to shut all the way, on the back edge there is a 10mm gap the lets air and water in. I have changed the hinges and tried adjusting the striker plate. Next on the list is to change the door latch's.
Has anyone else had this problem and can advise me on what to do?

Also the drivers side window keeps dropping on the forward edge, runners seem ok but where the window sits there is play in the forward runner part. Guessing this needs changing, have replaced forward channel, will do rear channel, they also need fixing in place.

Thankyou - Lewis

sounds like your door is twisted... they are not very strong and can be bent quite easily, especially if the wind catches it and swings it around.

In this case you will need to try and bend the door back again

Ok thanks, only thing is they are both the same and the gap is at the top and the bottom, the passenger door is brand new also so would hope that to be straight. Think there is abit of play in the latch but not sure if its meant to be like that?
