front door open problem.

any advice please i keep getting front door right front open on computer read out and the dreaded beeps all the time i am driving.
the door is closed and still it keeps coming up.
all advice is welcome.thanks in advance.

Sounds like a faulty sensor to me! Anyone know if it takes the signal from the switch that controls the interior light?

Faulty / loose / slipped microswitch on driver's door lock assembly.

Hi, I recently had the very same problem, but with my tailgate. The bloody beeping drove me mad until I looked into it. Turned out to be a loose connection in the tailgate loom. A bit of WD40 and a check of the wires cured the problem. Good luck.
