Front door locks, alarm fault killing me

Gents The front door locks p38 gave up so replaced them also put new fuse board in as it was shot so here we are put the new locks in everything worked brilliant for 24 hrs then the drivers lock stopped working on the central locking and also wouldnt lock or unlock from the door plunger thing - got in car drove home and drivers door working passenger door not so stripped out passenger side and checked all connections nothing obvious cleaned them all again and it will activate central locking from the plunger thing - drivers door wasnt working at all took all connections off and checked nothing showing put it back together nothing went inside to warm up came back out drivers door working perfectly also when I put the new locks in there was a fault showing on dash of Alarm Fault I took this as being one of the outstations not handshaking with the becm interestingly when the locks dont work the fault disappears now that they are working well sort of alarm fault is back - is it worth replacing the door loom any ideas welcome - I have a blow torch for the ultimate solution
