kept meaning to ask

has anyone changed there front door hinges

the drivers side drops ever so slightly when opening and is bugging me

had a look and it seems a question of pulling the circlip then the pin on top and bottom

but bet the door weighs a ton and will have to pull all the electrics

trying to see where the plug is by the drivers side panel , as I imagine there's a plug I can disconnect so can leave the door electrics all connected

not sure if it's a worn pin or the whole hinge itself , or if it can be shimed somehow

haven't got the strength to actually get hold of the door and lift it

cheers guys

I had the use of an engine crane to support the door, it's the way to go on your own

cheers mate

would get my son over to help , I could sit in the seat and pull the pins , lol

was actually thinking of a trolley jack with bits of wood underneath

but ur idea is a good one

just annoying as hell , don't have to lift the door but know it will only get worse and just trying to see how involved etc it is , with regards to disconnecting the electrics

looked online and the hinges are £10 quid each
