front disk brakes long peddle travel

I fitted some disk brakes to the front of my series 3 and they work very well but the pedal travels a lot to brake hard. I think its the increased volume of fluid the callipers need . Can i fit a bigger bore master cylinder . Thoughts please single line brakes

What diameter is the caliper position , are they designed for series , my series has 4 wheel cylinders at front so interesting to see how total area compares , have you got all the air out.
Have you searched on here for disc brakes see if anyone had same problem

Are you running the discs from a servo ?
