Front diff swap

Hi to all can i ask , ?
i have a disco 1 2.5 diesel/Bio has a lot of take up on the front diff, i have a 2.9 petrol disco 1 also i want swap the the whole axel as it also has 2" lift shocks that i cant unbolt , so i m hoping its possible ,,,,,

3.9 i presume ,there is a slight difference with diff angle but not enough to notice apart from that will bolt straight up,diff the same
