Only High range is affected if you fit a a 1.22 box low ramains the same. As for difflock i think they omitted it because they used electronic traction control instead. I believe the LT230 boxes to be the same just missing the linkage to enable the driver to lock it. But do check first I'm 90 percent sure. Jai

And my mechanic is around 130 kms away from me so would it be safe if i remove the front prop shat and drive the vehicle this far.. with the diff lock engaged?

Thanks.

Yes its fine I had my propshaft off for a month once but just bare in mind all the power is now being used on one axle instead of being spread over both of them. What do ou wish to achieve by doing this tho? Are you trying to stop the centre diff working do you reckon its the centre diff that is broken? Main cause is not locking it when it should be locked i.e when there is a likleyhood that grip could be lost get it engaged as soon as you think this ground is soft loose or anything bar grippy tarmac.

Thanks Jai!

My T box might be alright... I had changed the diff and my brother told me that he heard that sound again so I thout that it must be the t case then since the diff is almost new.

Now he tells me the sound came from the front left wheel. So I was thinking of taking it to my mechanic and getting it checked throughly. Wanna remove the shaft to save the new diff just in case some thing is wrong there.
