Front crank seal

Afternoon people, not possted in a while but now have to change front crank seal on L322 4,4 V8, had a quick look at RAVE and looks quite straight forward, was wondering if anyone has attempted this without LR special tools and can advise on any pitfalls, will also change PCV as a precaution, cheers in advance.

Fit the BMW upgraded valve to the crankcase
Never needs changing again once fitted

Hippo, don't suppose you have a part number by any chance? things are difficult enough here without confusing the issue for the people I have to deal with! Cheers.

Hi all, anyone know the part number for PCV valve 4,4v8 petrol L322 (bmw), dealer here has no idea what I am talking about and can't find a number on the net, thanks in anticipation.

Hi, not sure on the part number for the petrol engines

I know the diesel one but I don't think there the same

I'll try and have a search
