Disco 2 Front caliper difference?

Hello,

Does anybody know the difference between the early and late front calipers? The early part numbers are STC1915/16 and late SEG000030/60. I can't find a difference for the rears.

The carriers are the same early/late. The early calipers are much easier to get and also a bit cheaper.

I believe it's the size/bore of the pistons that are different

Thank you. I guess they aren't interchangeable then.

The caliper assemblies are interchangeable in pairs from post facelift onto the earlier pre-facelift cars - improving overall braking performance slightly.
I posted about this a few years ago when I needed to replace mine. If you use the Search option you should find it.
There's quite a few other posts referring to it too, some within the last month.

Thank you. Mine's a 2004 Facelift, so I guess I will have to use the later calipers too.
