her bulkhead looks strange, did the previous owner weld a a thin plate of metal over the air vents and surround area??
I gotta say i actually think its filler, but i havent thought much of it, i will have a looksy properly tomorrow whats under there... Haha! Not really paid attention to it yet! :D I might start my own thread on it actually, the whole truck that is, leave chris be ;)
 
That's not bad looking after standing in a field for 10 years. So the exhaust routed out through the air intake hole? Must make quite a noise! good luck with the re-build.

I think thats my temporary silencer mounted straight on the manifold youre lookin at haha! Sure is loud though without it, sounds like a tank

Oh and it is a really nice field... ;) i can remember seeing it from my farm in the same place as far back as my memory goes to a little munchkin that loved landies

welded shut. have to paint it black and put a new bumper on
