Front brakes discs and pads

So thought this would be easy always replaced my own pads and discs, but all the part numbers have been superceeded, prices range from 9.00-60.00!!
Any recommendation for which parts I need and from where???

solid discs are frc7329 pads rtc3163 which is the same as stc9145

Hello jamesmartin, I'm after new (front & rear) discs & pads for my 2000 def. TDI, front discs are ventilated.
Online suppliers have many with different numbers of bolts! etc. which would fit my standard Defender TDi ?

200tdi has drum rear as std ,vented discs are ftc902 and rears are ftc1381 unless its a salisbury axle ,what bolts etc are you after

My defender is a 2000 (build year) TD5, sorry for the confusion.
I need brake discs & pads. The front discs are ventilated (that is the discs have holes/slots in the middle)

The VIN is YA192015, this may help.

slotted discs arent std but aftermarket ,std vented discs are ftc902 pads stc1275 ,ftc3375 caliper bolts are often best replaced and removed with 1/2 bihex socket

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but what pads and caliper bolts would be requried for a 94 ex-mod 110? I've been looking around and there seem to be different systems.

Also, is any particualr make of pads recommended?

I'm not sure if they need changed, but I thought I might as well get them to hand for when I check as I'll need them at some point anyway.

My 90 is fitted with a 50th anniversary front axle (vented discs). Is part numbe FTC902 valid for this axle too? (I have been told that the discs are identical to 110 discs).

ftc3375 is the bolts stc1275 for pads

yes all 90/110/disco1/rrc vented are ftc902 as solid are frc7329 ,its only rears where 110 differs to the 90s and the others

Hang on you lot!!

He still has to get through the doors you know!!

However, on my 1990 vintage 110 the caliper bolts are 13mm BiHex and he disc to hub bolts are 14mm BiHex, so it will depend upon the age as to them being 1/2" or 13mm metric.
