Ok, sorry if this is something everyone has discussed before. I am planning on buying a Freelander on Saturday and wanted to put side steps, rear bar and front bar on it. I know that proper bull bars are illegal but that shock absorbing bars that meet certain spefications are not. Could anyone tell me if they think the bars on the following link would or would not be illegal?

Freelander Accessories - A Bars

Thanks all

I'd just give them a quick call...

Something else you could do...

Don't buy a Freelander.

Buy a Defender.

Fit an A bar to that.

Actually have fun.

it'll never stand the extra weight

I take it your moderators don't care that their forum members don't answer the questions asked, instead they just post pointless crap just to get that +1 on post count and get that warm sticky feelin in ur pants.

Oh well, I'll just go and ask somewhere else. Someone do me a favour and delete my account, I don't particularly want to be a statistic on your member count as I will not be visiting this forum again.

Further more tell that dirty carp eatin polak he can suck a fat one. If I found myself caring what a polak thought i'd have to end it there and then and take a high jump off a bridge.....lucky i couldn't care less really. Bye :bolt:

The mods do a good enough job as it is without you wantin em to delete your account anorl.... you dont like it here dont log back in.

Well, wot du say 2 that....? Wot a miserable ****e! Potential gaylander owner, must b upsetting :baby::Cry: oh and from a disco owner....:welcome:

Thing is the advice is actually there even if shrouded in banter!

Research Freelanders on the forum and come to the conclusion you will be better off with another form of Land Rover. Be it a discovery or a defender. If you want a freelander then give the petrol ones a wide birth. Again. Have a search about them and their issues.

For what it's worth.

Welcome.

Get a thicker skin.

(Also. You came on here wanting something and not introducing yourself in the newbie section. Give that area a post and I think you'll find people are pretty ok here. Give it a try.)

this is why freelander owners have such a bad rep, some have to much moisturiser on a delicate skin;
"If you can't take it and just want a 4x4 to show-off get yourself a Hummer!!!"

tiped with greassy hands, signed by a proud, thick skined Freelander owner
